About G-Star
G-Star (sometimes also written G*STAR, G★, G★STAR, or in Korean 지스타) is an annual trade show for the computer and video games industry presented by KOTRA in November. Originally held in the Seoul Metropolitan Area, it was relocated to Busan in 2009.
The expo’s main focus is South Korea’s burgeoning game industry, with major local companies like Nexon, NHN, and Com2uS Corporation in attendance, just to name a few; there’ll also be several overseas companies like Activision-Blizzard, Nintendo, and Tencent Games. It features both B2C and B2B areas where you can meet up with fellow game devs, look for publishers, or just try out the latest in gaming that Korea has to offer. It is said that G-star is by far the second largest game expo following E3 in US.
You can get more details about the expo by visiting G-Star’s website.
